SEO expertise is not a question of pride for some people in the search engine marketing industry. If you are really good at what you do, you probably think you are good at it. I have two of my own SEO clients, both of whom, admit to me that they are experts in their own areas of expertise.
Marketing is a weird business. You have to be good at it, to be considered to be good at it and then there is theently rush to be number one on everything. Forget about paying hundreds of pounds for a marketing company, with a million hits a month and enjoying a million satisfied customers. If you are happy to bring in just ten visitors a day to your site and hope they are converted into paying customers, then justaboutlevel SEOof your site is enough. If you want to achieve SEO success, you probably already know that most traffic is a result of high ranking in the search engines, and by far Google is the most important.
But why do people still call themselves SEO experts and consultants when it comes to most things in life?
I suppose the answer is that some of them would consider themselves to be in the same position as the guy who called himself an expert in water splitting. They want to be seen as authorities in areas of specialist knowledge. It is a way of defining themselves as unique and special. “I’ll go and get a picture of the Eiffel Tower” could be called “I’ll go and get the photos of the disposable external hard drives”. If you are Specialist or repentanceff specialists then it is a way of recruiting other specialists to your business.
I know what you are thinking and that is what the experts do. They have an advantage and people are willing to pay for the knowledge. If it is your business then you probably have a staff of SEO consultants. They are your Vital Web Designers.
So, let’s get down to the basics and see what you need to know to make your website Google friendly.
You should have a good density of your main keyword terms (3 or 5% most people recommend) and sprinkle them throughout the website. Don’t try and cram too many in and make your site look like spammy. Think about your keywords and where you place them. Google is looking for good quality websites with the experience of the business. When it finds a website with a keyword or keyword phases that it has never used before it will know that you have updated your site and welcome the new visitor. It will also give you a confidence boost.
Have good quality relevant and unique content on your site. Update and add new pages on a regular basis. The search engines will visit your site more often. This will help your tend to rank better for your keywords and key phrases.
Make sure that all pages link to at least one other page on your site or that link back to your site page. Choose your anchor text carefully – you don’t want the link that reads “click here” as your anchor text.That will tell the search engines that the link is to a page about the women’s fashions and not your home page. Make your anchor text something like ” faireler beauty” or “cheap fashioned beauty” or “flowers” or “gifts” and so on. When your site has links that link to other pages it gives weight to those pages and the link that is passed will be more valuable.
Add new content regularly. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to be able to add new content. This is a regular activity. And you don’t need to do it for search engine purposes. It does not matter if you use an article, an ebook or an audio file, if you add new content then your potential client will see that you are trying to update the site and thus they will expect you to do so on a regular basis.
Take your website and and put potentially five or six new pages to make sure that all the pages link together. It’s more difficult to write a whole new page than it is to take an existing page and break it up into new pages. When you take existing pages on the site you can tables can be added, new researched keywords can be researched, and so on.
A keyword can be typed in by the reader, but will feature in the search engine index. So for these keywords you should be looking for good quality content which could be Agreed by the client and then headings should be created. You then take the opportunity to write a heading or te tag the whole article. Make sure you use the keywords in the heading.
Content is king.
